Gregory Kepferle Chief Executive Officer, Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County
Mimi is a highly skilled, culturally competent and compassionate therapist who brings creative approaches to her clinical work with children and their caregivers.
She ran two amazing programs for Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County in the Behavioral Health Division that provides routine developmental screenings, social-emotional and behavioral assessments and interventions for children prenatal through 6 years old. The programs concentrate on early attachment and those elements of early childhood that can be of concerns to caregivers such as depression, anxiety and high level of stress.
She is now running her own early childhood behavioral health social enterprise and I wish her all the best.

Hi Mimi,
As your former direct supervisor and licensed clinical social worker I have been very impressed with your dedication to early childhood mental health recovery. You demonstrated your passion and dedication to working with this population when you became an early childhood mental health specialist through your clinical fieldwork with your young child and infant clients.
I believe my experience working with you as your supervisor has given me great insight into the deep value and respect you have for these clients and their parents. You honor each client and caregiver’s unique culture and circumstances, and you do with great compassion and empathy. Because of your very important skills in working with young children and infants you are a great partner with them and their families as they walk through recovery together.
Lastly, I believe you have shown great dedication to continually learning and advancing in your techniques and skills so that you are able to deliver the highest quality service to your clients.
On a personal note I have been humbled by your kindnesses and gentleness with those who have had the honor of knowing and working with you.
