Exceptional and Compassionate

He is now the class president.

Hello,

My name is Tina. I have a grandson who is turning 9 years old. He grew up lacking the love and care of his parents. I love him dearly so I gave up everything and arranged my life to take care of him.

During his first few years of life, he encountered many difficulties. At the age of 3, he could barely speak any words. He often ran around, ran into and then bounced off walls, head butted, rolled on the floor, hit his head against the wall… He frequently got upset and threw things around. His teacher often complained and told me that it was very likely that he had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)… I was more worried that he had Autism because he often played by himself. He rarely answered when I called his name… Fortunately, he was diagnosed by a doctor and had no Autism.

Mimi helped me understand that he actually had Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and his early experiences had a very big impact on his overall development. When he was 4 years old, Mimi provided me with many strategies, such as how to play with him, help him calm down and be less angry. Not only that, Mimi also helped me with paperwork to receive social services.

Today I am officially his adopted mother. He receives all the love, care and affection that he can get. He is now very healthy and such a good boy. He does math very well. He also got selected to be the class president. He is very sweet and flatters me every day by saying “I love you, I love you. You are very beautiful …”

Thank you, Mimi
